One advantage to coming to RR Gallery is that we can show you what your file will look on our calibrated monitor that will simulate what the print will look like on the paper or canvas that you want.
We are fully colour managed and have the latest generation SureColor p9000, widely regarded as the finest giclee printer on the market today. We also have an Epson 9890 archival printer as well. We only use archival Epson inks.

Archival Canvas
We do printing of a wide range of artwork, ranging from fine art limited edition prints, to vacation snapshots and family photos.
RR Gallery's giclee fine art canvas printing service is of the highest quality, using only archival canvas and uv inks, and is a very cost effective method of art reproduction, either as open editions or limited editions. Our shop is fully colour calibrated and we use the latest museum grade printing equipment and materials.
Our black and white printing is second to none. We capture the detail in the shadows better than anyone.
Our canvases of choice are Lyve canvas by Breathing Color, and Epson Exhibition Matte canvas since they have the widest colour range of any archivally rated canvases on the market. They do not have any optical brighteners, which turn yellow over time. Using canvas with no optical brighteners ensures that the whites in your picture will stay as white as when the piece was first printed.
Unlike some printers, who substitute cheaper inks that fade with age, we only use genuine Epson UV inks, since they are rated to be stable in terms of keeping their colour over time.
Epson Luster Photo Paper
After having tried several different photographic papers over the years, we have found that the Epson Premium Luster Photo paper produces the best results in terms of vibrancy, colour management and appearance. As well as being a great paper that will not yellow over time, the luster photo paper has a beautiful finish that is not too glossy, but plays beautifully with any reflected light.
Artist Jonathan Havelock has chosen this paper for his latest series of limited edition photo prints because it captures the rich colours and textures of his artwork so beautifully.
We have used it for limited edition artwork, as well as being the paper of choice for professional photographers. We have also done many prints for customers who want to print their family and vacation photos.
Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper
Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper is a 100% cotton rag archival paper that is widely recognised as one of the finest fine art substrates on the market today. We have been printing on this paper for years and have found it to be the best for fine art reproductions as well as printing old photographs.
This paper is perfect for framing, ask us how we can scan and digitally repair grandma's old photograph and frame it beautifully after printing it on this museum grade cotton rag paper. This will be an heirloom that will last a lifetime.
We have many artists who print on the velvet fine art paper with us and have found that they sell many more archival limited edition prints than they ever did with canvas or other inferior papers. We also offer a service using metallic photo paper and then finished with a matte laminate finish. The combination of these two makes for an amazing look that can be mounted and framed without using glass. We have done many photos like this and it looks especially good on black and white photos.
Our scanning and art reproduction services are the finest in Edmonton. In this picture, the one on the left is the artist's original and the one on the right is the print reproduction that we did for her on velvet fine art paper. It is very difficult to tell the difference, and impossible if you don't have them side by side. What does the term "Giclee print" mean? It is a high quality archival print designed mostly for limited edition art printing. It is an elevation of printmaking using the newest technology. Images are printed based from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various materials including canvas and fine art cotton archival paper. The Giclee printing process provides much better colour accuracy than other types of reproduction.
Think about all effort you put into a painting. And then the thrill of selling it. Trouble is, when it is gone, you can only sell it once. And then you have to start the process all over again with another image. Now imagine selling it over and over again, at a lower price so that many others can share your work, with very little effort on your part and higher long-term income. That is what you can do if you make prints your paintings. The methods that we offer are very easy for you, and easy, at a reasonable price.
